Event Description

In 1831, Michael Faraday discovered that what were previously thought of as two distinct forces—electricity and magnetism—are actually part of the same phenomenon. His discovery would soon usher in massive changes up until today.

Less than two centuries after Faraday, this #SeptEMber, we will delve into the cornerstone of human technological advancements, from where it has brought us now to what it holds for the future and our role as science clubbers in arriving at this future.

The Philippine Society of Youth Science Clubs invites all science clubbers to charge up with knowledge on ELECTROMAGNETISM in the 2018 National Science Club Month with the theme: "WAVEFRONT: Accentuating Potentials, Activating Technological Advancements"

Registration is now open for all sub-events:
National Science Clubs Summit (SUMMIT) for Junior High School and Senior High School students; PSYSC Science Olympiad (PSO) for Elementary, Junior High School, and Senior High School students; Mathematics, Science, at Kapaligiran (MATHSCIAKA) for Elementary (only in the MATHSCIAKA Proper), Junior High School and Senior High School students (in both SUMMIT-MATHSCIAKA and MATHSCIAKA Proper); and the I Teach Science Seminar (ITSS) for teachers and science club advisers.

Registration materials and details can be found at tinyurl.com/NSCM2018Downloadables for desktops or PCs, and bit.ly/2fgdN6R for mobile phones.
